Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father who plays hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, at Minsk Belarus. She has been able to achieve twelve WTA singles championships, which includes the Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. In her role as a specialist in doubles, she also has won the US Open of 2019 as well as in the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. She won two majors, her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing what is known as the Sunshine Double. Only four couples were able to make it happen in women's doubles. Her ranking went from second to third on the world singles rankings at the end of August on the 23rd, 2021. Her highest rank was again achieved in January 2023. However, in doubles she rose to the number one spot following her win in Melbourne on February of the same year. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) played her as a coach for the duration of the 2019 season in 2018 and through the end. Dieter Kindlmann and her were briefly together in August through September 2020. She has been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her idols.
